We are thrilled to announce that Gilmoora House has once again received the prestigious Gold Award at this year’s London in Bloom campaign, making it the second consecutive year we’ve been honoured with this top commendation in the Shop Fronts & Workplaces category.
London in Bloom is the capital’s largest horticultural competition, bringing together local businesses, schools, restaurants, and community spaces to enhance the beauty and greenery of Greater London. This incredible initiative works to make our city more vibrant, sustainable and eco-conscious by promoting the importance of green spaces and encouraging all of us to take care of our environment.
A Year-Round Celebration of Nature
The judges assess participants based on a 200-point structure, evaluating everything from design and creativity to the impact on the surrounding area. We are incredibly proud of our seasonal flower displays, which change throughout the year to reflect the colours and textures of each season.
From summer’s cheerful daisies and soft white poppies to the rich autumn tones of cyclamens, our outdoor pots are carefully curated to create a welcoming, ever-evolving space. As the weather cools, the displays transform with winter-friendly plants that thrive in the chill. Inside Gilmoora House, we also celebrate greenery with a collection of leafy plants, from elegant orchids to lush ferns and tall Strelitzias.
